Everything was pleasant in our stay here. We stayed one night travelling thru. The front desk was so helpful and professional. I love the aesthetic of the hotel. The rooms were huge! Big fridge, dishwasher, peninsula with 2 bar stools, TV, comfy chair, and everything was clean. It was a wonderful stay. Hymn and pool was a plus for the children. Breakfast was hot and varied. 5 stars. Glad we stayed here! We booked 2 adjoining double queen rooms.

Great overall experience end to end. Cynthia at the front desk was a big part of that, too. She was warm and welcoming, gave us a lot of great suggestions and what I loved most of all, she acknowledged and offered all of the benefits that come with my Bonvoy Gold Status! Gold comes with a lot of perks, however, you have to stay at quiet a few Marriott branded hotels annual to earn it but then also see those benefits come to fruition which gives you an opportunity to experience many different check ins. I would say that 10/10 most locations recognize and thank you for being a Bonvoy member but at the same time 9/10 don't acknowledge or offer you the stated benefits that accompany the status within the program. For example the 2PM check out, or a complinentary room upgrade. You're left having to ask the desk agent for those things which can feel awkward and make you feel like you're demanding something vs being offered the benefit that has been presented as an entitlement and that changes the check-in experience from the guest perspective. Speaking with Cynthia at the front desk on a fee occasions during our stay along with other staff members throughout the facility reaffirmed our belief that the staff here are all aligned with ensuring the guest experience is a memorable one from begining to end - maintenance, housekeeping, and the breakfast team were all lovely. Thank you for the seamless and memorable stay and for offering us to take advantage of the added benefits of our membership status without us having to ask for them.

I'm surprised to read so many negative reviews! We booked through Expedia, with a really reasonable price. Our room was really clean, spacious, and everything was great. They went over and above to leave a note at our request as a surprise for our girls. We all loved the hot breakfast (I loved that there were gluten-free options and knowledge!! - though we did see some people put regular bread in, so just be cautious). The girls adored the pool, and we always had friendly service at the front desk and restaurant. The area felt safe and so convenient for walking down to the aquabus or the opposite way to many restaurants, cafes, etc. We had a really great stay

My friends and I recently stayed at this hotel on our trip to Vancouver. The complimentary breakfast was a life saver for us considering 2/4 of us are pregnant (so when we woke up early and were really hungry we could grab a bite). Every staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming! Plus the location of this hotel is so central so it was easy to get around and even explore Downtown Vancouver via walking. The ONLY downside of this hotel is that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbouring guests beside you and above you. We were unfortunately placed beside a group partiers who would be up making noise late into the night, but that isn't something the hotel can control. Other than that, great hotel!

We had a wonderful stay overall! The breakfast was your standard hot hotel breakfast of eggs and sausage, but they had French toast which was a wonderful treat! The local health regs do not permit bringing food up to the room, so do note that for folks wanting to bring breakfast to their partner while they sleep in! Room service is every other day, which is a bit of a bummer when staying in a hotel, but overall the staff are wonderful, the hotel is clean, and conveniently situated!

This hotel was the best of my entire trip (five hotels in total). The location, the room itself, and the view were all wonderful. I truly wish I had spent more time in this city—not only because of how beautiful it is, but because of how comfortable this hotel made our stay. I highly recommend it!

Great location, super centrally located to downtown Vancouver. Approximately in 8 to 10 minute walk from the Granville Station exit. However, there is a significant portion that is uphill so this should be kept in mind if you are traveling with heavy bags from the airport. The guest rooms are well appointed and clean. The kitchen is decently stocked however, they do not contain an oven which should be kept in mind when you were cooking to ensure that you are not planning a meal that would require one. I was easily able to navigate the city and even visited the Christmas market near the waterfront. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again on my next trip to the city.

I stayed here with family during the week for three nights. The location is perfect to get around the city easily with fast access to taxis, Ubers, local transportation. Hotel gave us a surprise for our kid birthday by writing a birthday card, arranging small gummies bottle and a strawberry cake slice in the room. That was a nice little touch to our stay and very much appreciate that. Our room was on 10th floor facing the hotel front street. There's a big condo construction right in front of this hotel but no noise during the night time. Room was clean, spacious, good space to walk around. Restroom felt little tight to walk into, but very clean as well. I tried to turn on tv with remote but did not have any luck during my stay. Free breakfast was decent, there's not much choice for hot items but the one served were cooked properly like scrambled eggs, vegetables scramble, hash browns. They provided honeydew, cantaloupe, banana and orange for fruit options. It's a tight building for sure. As soon as you get out of elevator, each floor felt very tight and small space, little congested and claustrophobic to some extent. Overall, it's still a good hotel with great location and close access to downtown. I'd stay here again.
